Creativity Jumpstart & Freedom from Fear

Hand to Brush
Watercolour on Fabriano, 15"x 22"

I gave a gifted artist a session that I call a "Creativity Jumpstart." She had been widowed two years before, and had stopped creating artwork. Her late husband, also an artist, visited her in her dreams, and often in meditation. But she missed him terribly, and no longer had the desire to produce. An artist myself, I often help creatives from many fields overcome blocks such as this. With that single session, she visualized a truckload of artwork she had created, and at last overcame her block and began to accomplish the art that she so loved, and was meant to do.

She then returned to me, and told me how her world had become constricted, and she was afraid to walk her ranch for fear of wild animals. Sometimes people who have lost beloved husbands or wives may place themselves in their own prison, afraid to attend functions without their late spouses, afraid to reach out to a world that seems so foreign without that love of their life, even experiencing guilt that they still lived while their loved one had passed. We decided to have a QHHT session, and examine this fear, something that did not exist before, when she was free to walk her land with her husband, but now had developed boundaries and barriers.

In her session regression, she was a Native American "Half Breed" (I only use this as it was the terminology of that century that she was experiencing), wild and free in early America, spending days by herself hunting and gathering moss and shells and beautiful natural things for her people and her art. She described her tribal people and a beloved grandmother who loved her and cared for her, how she tried to go to school with the Early Settlers, and how she independently turned her back on the colonial education and way of life.

She was one with nature, a lover of solitude and comfortable in her own skin, communing with her surroundings and loving the wind, the moon, the stars, and the spirits. She died young, in her thirties, with her family surrounding her and chanting, as she lay on moss they had gathered, a symbol of the earth, nature, and the forest. It was a peaceful death.

Her subconscious spoke to her that she had always been one with nature, and never needed to be afraid. She was shown that life so that she could release this fear, and learn to live again...to regain her joy in life. In that life she had taught others that people can be different, floating between two cultures, and be fully realized and strong. She was not to be afraid of nature, and it was beautiful to be outside. She no longer had to fear wild animals, and could walk her land safe and sure. Her subconscious actually teased her about this fear, and removed it. It told her to walk her ranch, and strengthen her knee, not be so sedentary, not to justify lack of activity due to fear, and to weather this small amount of anxiety as she grew away from these limitations. She was to love her life, to wholeheartedly embrace it and to get out there in the forest, a metaphor to get out there and live her life! It was her time and place. Have no fear. Have no fear.

Quantum Healing Hypnotherapy (QHHT) Session

Dancing In The Wind
Watercolor, 22x24

I gave a QHHT session to a young woman, who gave me the gift of awe. She had been in the foster care system, and had lived with 50 different foster families from the age of 4 to 18. She was now a mother of a 14 and 16 year old, single, and was a self employed housekeeper. She made a good income, and traveled two hours to have a session with me. She felt her throat and back were having problems due to her belief system, and wanted help.

Her mother had committed suicide in 2003, and her brother (one of two), had done the same thing the next year. Her mother had suffered isolation, drug abuse, and depression. And sadly, this young woman did not even know if her father was still alive.

Whew. Yet in spite of all this, she told me she had had a pretty good time in foster care, and met many people she liked. However, she missed being in a caring, traditional family. I started the session by honoring her, telling her that a soul that comes into life with such a path, is learning a master lesson, and that I felt grateful to work with her.

During the session, she had a life as a 10 foot + tall translucent woman in a glove-like suit with exotic symbols all over. She was tasked with observing and recording whole populations from other planets, move-transition-evolve. Then when she went to the last day of that life, she was presented with a richly engraved golden door and a golden key. She was unable to open the door, as she felt she was unworthy to be there, that everything was "too beautiful", "too far above" her. She was frightened and intensely humble, completely paralyzed. I realized I was dealing with a soul in this current life, that was unaware of her beauty and her power. She asked me for permission to open the door, and I gave her the assurance that she was perfect, and possessed that power within herself.

She then was suddenly on the other side of the door, and before her was a beautiful golden book, open, with inscriptions of gold. She again felt too humble to touch it, and again I gave her the assurance that she was perfect, and had that power within herself, and that she was WORTHY. That was the key, her underlying belief that she was not deserving, but what a beautiful, strong, humble person she is. She was able to access that book, absorb its love, and speak with her oversoul. It was astonishing to hear her SC talk to her about her value, that she needed to love herself, not be so hard on herself, and how her journey was valid and strong and good, and nothing was wrong with her back but anxiousness and stress. The SC gave her soothing, caring remedies, and a key word to stop her need to smoke, and sooth her throat.

It was an extraordinary session. I came out of that session thanking her for letting me be part of it.

The Tree of Life: I paint it, and use it metaphorically for past life regression

Why the Tree of Life?

This is an image that has always been close to my heart. I continue to be fascinated by  Trees of Life, and the iconic meaning behind them.

The Tree of Life is a tree in the Garden of Eden whose fruit imparts eternal life. And as we are all eternal in our energetic bodies, it made an iconic metaphorical contribution to my hypnotherapeutic process for my Regression, QHHT, & Gestalt Dreamwork sessions.

It is an archetype identifiable to all. I just gave a Gestalt Dreamwork session, and my client returned to a vivid Out Of Body Experience (OBE) she had had. In it, she experienced a tree that she became entangled in with two other people in the OBE. The Gestalt Dreamwork process helped her to interpret the purpose of her OBE, and if that really was a case of being caught in the tree.

So extraordinary on many levels. I thank her for her exploratory nature and willingness to examine life at the subconscious level!

I am working on two more Trees of Life. One is of a male, and the other of a male & female wrapped around each other, forming the trunk.

Take care, and those of you who do, happy OBEing! For those of you who don't but want to embrace or study the concept, contact me for an appointment.
